Good for beginners July 14, 2010 bhl I bought this along with the eTrex Venture GPS. I have been geocacheing only a few months and found this book explained everything that I needed to know to continue and enhance the experience of geocaching. I recommend this book to all new geocachers as well as those who have been at it a while. You just might learn something ou didn't already know.
This book offers so much more info than what I had found on the internet, even on the geocache.com site handled by the same folks who worte this book.
A Good Start If Wanting To Learn Geocaching May 17, 2010 William W. Bresee (Tampa Bay, FL USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Being that I've been geocaching 5+ years. A lot has changed thru the sport of geocaching, somethings were removed and some new things added. This book explains a lot of it. A good book to give for yourself or to the geocacher in your life.

Geocaching Guide February 5, 2010 J. Alden (Bethesda, MD) 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
Much of the info in this book can be found at [...], but this provides a portable version that is more complete. I purchased it as a gift for my grandson, together with a geomate junior. None of my family had heard about geocaching before and I had hoped it would encourage more dog walking with their new puppy.
Great Guide February 3, 2010 T. Goldenstein (Illinois) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a great guide. It is written by the people who started geocaching. This is a great "sport" and easily explained in this book. Great fun for kids and families too.
